The Robotics & Autonomous Systems unit of the department of Mechanics participates in the NATO-IST-149 working group on the development of novel interoperability concepts for unmanned ground systems. This team has received the 2021 NATO IST Panel team excellence award for its work on leading research and efforts towards providing a more accessible and easier way of implementing standards for unmanned ground vehicles by other international organisations.
