The second day of the competition, reserved for the 25 finalist teams, challenged the students participating in the Cyber Security Challenge with The Case. In a sense, how to approach the world more globally in communication.
Finally, the awards ceremony took place this evening in the grand Frank De Winne conference room in the presence of our school commander, Rear Admiral Yves Dupont. After an introduction by General Major Van Strythem, director of the Component Cyber Command, and a presentation by Vincent Defrenne, director of the CSCB and co-founder of NVISO, the genesis of Cyber until now, prior to this 10th anniversary, was told.
Participants could also vote for the three best challenges they faced this year. The challenge presented by Defence proved to be the most popular.
The results were in, and our brave RMA team achieved a well-deserved 5th place. Congratulations!
Once again, our school was very honoured to host this event. It represents an excellent opportunity to promote Defence as a potential employer of highly technical profiles, both military and civilian.
